By accessing or using ElderCard (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ElderCard is a collaborative campaign management tool for tabletop role-playing games. It lets Game Masters ("DMs") and players organize and display campaign information—such as characters, monsters, spells, items, and locations—in a visual card format. ElderCard is not a game of chance, does not award prizes, and does not facilitate user-to-user sales of digital goods.
DMs may host campaigns on ElderCard. Players may join campaigns without creating an account if the DM enables that option.
ElderCard may offer optional "Server Upgrades" (e.g., through Patreon codes) that unlock additional capacity or features for a DM's server. These upgrades are tied to the DM's server and are subject to separate billing terms with the third-party processor. If an upgrade lapses, the server may return to free-tier limits; no user content is deleted solely due to downgrades.
You are solely responsible for content you upload or create ("User Content"), including ensuring you have all necessary rights. By uploading User Content, you grant ElderCard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service.
You may not upload, share, or create content that:
ElderCard complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your work has been used on ElderCard without authorization, send a notice to our designated agent:
Your notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized agent; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.
Upon valid notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the content. Repeat infringers may be suspended or banned.
Report suspected illegal content or serious policy violations to support@eldercard.online. Content suspected to be CSAM will be removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant authorities as required by law.
If you purchase a Server Upgrade or other paid feature, billing is handled by third-party payment providers (e.g., Patreon). ElderCard does not store full payment card details. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade.
If ElderCard hosts a public library of community submissions, you acknowledge that such content is user-submitted. ElderCard may review, refuse, remove, or feature content at its discretion. Submissions must comply with these Terms and applicable law.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time. We will try to provide notice of material changes when practical.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ElderCard disclaims all implied warranties and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Our aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to ElderCard in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold ElderCard and its affiliates harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, use of the Service, or violation of these Terms or law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
